CAMPS WILL RUN REGARDLESS OF WEATHER - HOWEVER YOU MAY CHANGE TO ANOTHER DAY IF THERE IS A VACANCY. IN THE EVENT OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CHECK THIS SPOT. PLEASE BRING A RAIN COAT IF IT LOOKS LIKE RAIN.
January camps on the 19th and 21st January for the under 10s, 23rd January for 10 and ups.
Payment for January camps by 15th January 2009.
PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO REFUND AFTER THESE DATES, EXCEPT IN CASE OF EMERGENCY.

DAY CAMPS
Day camps are held at SEC every school holidays.
What we do:
Beginners:
Safety around horses
Learn to groom, saddle and bridle
Basic Riding Skills – individual attention
Fun games on horseback
Intermediate/Advanced:
Preparing pony for gymkhana – plaiting, braiding, special techniques
Trail riding
Showjumping lessons
Sporting games (Barrel racing, bending etc)
Dressage coaching
Bareback riding.
Swimming is part of the day if hot.
ARRANGE A GROUP OF FRIENDS FOR YOUR OWN DAY CAMP!!
What to bring:
Long pants
Lunch
Morning Tea
Riding Boots (can be borrowed)
Helmet – ASA 3838 (can be borrowed)
Swimming costume/towel if summer
Sun hat and Sun cream
Indemnity form must be signed by new students
Camps run from 9-3pm and are $120/day.
