The Bunning's BBQ is on 25th August Volunteers are urgently required. Please contact Nelly if you can spare a couple of hours. We need people to man the till, put the sandwiches together as well as someone to keep the stock going. This does not have to be an all day thing, even an hour would help to give the long term helpers a break. Please consider helping as it is a great money raiser for the club-Thanking you in advance

Public Officer Report: We have had further development with Council.

·                    The latest is that Mr. Robert Dunn, Solicitor is looking after our case on a pro bono basis.  We owe Trine a big vote of thanks for coercing him, and to him of course for taking it on. Our chances to win this round are pretty good.

·                    As soon as the matter has been cleared, we will produce a newsletter informing all and sundry that we are going ahead with grading the arena – it will then be properly ready for use.  At this stage we can afford to have it done.

·                    We can have a grand opening BBQ and dinner – Steve Jeffries is happy to give us a talk about his adventures in Qatar, it will be a great night!

·                    It seems that we have to do a new job distribution exercise that can happen under General Business. Thanks everybody!
