Shelby Equestrian Centre is a boutique riding school situated on Sydney's beautiful Northern Beaches. It caters for those who are interested in learning to ride and care for the horse in a fun, safe and professional environment.
Shelby was started in 2001 by Rachelle Bolton, at its current location in Ingleside, the family property. Rachelle has been involved with horses since the age of 7, and is passionate about teaching people how to enjoy the animals which have given her so much.
Rachelle has a long history in Pony Club, Riding Club and open competition, and is dedicated to helping people achieve their goals in riding.
Shelby has been responsible for introducing hundreds of people into the horse world. A trip to the local clubs' equestrian events will show a large number of Shelby students, both past and present, participating in the various disciplines.
We specialise in finding suitable mounts for aspiring riders and teaching them to fulfil their responsibilities as horse-owners.
We provide horses and ponies which are good-natured and well educated, to ensure a pleasant and productive riding experience. Our coaches and staff are experts in their fields, and are focussed on producing competent, well-rounded students, and in maintaining our facilities to the highest possible standard.
